For Math 7 students practicing Integer Skills

This blog entry provides links students will use for in-class integer practice. Feel free to pursue them further outside of class time as well!

FIRST:
You must spend 10 minutes practicing your skills on the following site. Scroll down to almost the bottom of the page, to the SECOND time it has the heading POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE INTEGERS. There are 15 different things listed here that you can practice. Work on addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division at a level that is appropriate to you. If they are too easy, try the ones with larger numbers.

SECOND:
After 10 minutes of practice, you can spend the rest of the period playing any of the games listed below. On the websites that ask you for a Player Name, you can use the random one the computer generates, or you can use your first name. Those are your only options. Anyone found making up inappropriate names will not be allowed to play the games any longer.

Bubbles - pop the bubbles in order from the smallest number to the largest

Speedboat Game - choose the answer that will be positive

Integer Football - move along the football field - headphones REQUIRED!

Spider Match - race against other players as a spider

Integer Warp - multiplication race against other players in a spaceship

Orbit Integers - addition race against other players in a spaceship
