Welcome, new 7th graders! On this website, you'll be able to double-check what your homework assignment was each night. What you will find here is a description of the assignment you were supposed to do. What you will NOT find here is a copy of each assignment. I trust that you can keep the papers that I give you, but I understand that sometimes it gets confusing to remember what exactly you were supposed to finish for homework.
Your first task for math class is to finish getting your school supplies. From the longer list that went out in the PTA newsletter this summer, the things that you will need specifically for my math class are:
* pencils
* spiral notebook just for math class
* a two-pocket folder
* assignment book (one will be given to you by the school - use it!)
*Also, if you would like to have your own calculator and are shopping for one, the DeWitt Math Department requests that you get a TI-30XIIS. This is not a required supply for 7th graders, but it would certainly be helpful. There will be calculators available for all students in the classroom, but they cannot be taken home at night to use on homework.
That's it! Please have these supplies ready by Monday and bring them with you every single day.
